Before embarking on her journey as a photographer, Sam had a successful career as an award-winning textile designer and screen printer. I am a Western Australian photographer and textile designer living in Fremantle.
The imagery I capture & create is strong, beautiful and intriguing. The study of light never ceases to amaze and inspire me. My passion for photography does not limit me to one genre but spans across multiple genres from portraiture to headshots, art, interiors, small business branding, model portfolios, commercial and product photography.
I love working with people, artists, performers and small business to showcase their products, environment and employees giving the viewer or consumer a connection into the heart and soul of the business. As an artist with a background in marketing, advertising and promotions I can offer small businesses the whole "visual package".
Background
I was the co-owner and director of award winning textile design company Salu Art Pty Ltd for 13 years whereby I designed and hand screen printed custom made wall art and a variety of soft furnishing products for commercial and residential interiors. I worked closely with architects, builders and interior designers across Australia with our work featuring regularly in magazines such as House & Garden, Home Beautiful, Country Style, Scoop, Homes & Living, Insite, Queensland Homes, The West Australian, The Sunday Times and Real estate publications.
